Wow! Thank you for all of the messages and emails and comments. It meant a lot to have you all there. Tom and I had a lovely late lunch yesterday after the news and that was celebration enough. We both came home and got to work on our projects. We suddenly had lots of energy to go forward. We're just ready to get on with it all!
I had promised a video of George's performance, but unfortunately the file is too large. Now I am trying to cut it down and post it. It will come soon. Until then, here are some photos from one of Andrew Jackon's alleged birthplaces. This one was in North Carolina.
